STEP Bazaar in Agusan National High School

Last December 11, 2009 the 2009 STEP Bazaar was held in the Agusan National High School Campus. This program was sponsored by the Supreme Student Government and by the Student Technologists and Entrepreneurs of the Philippines Organization or STEP. This activity started from 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon.

There were many students from different sections and year levels that participated in this activity. Some of them are the section Archimedes and Aristotle from the first year levels and the section Darwin and Linnaeus from the sophomores. There were many items sold in this bazaar. The first year levels sold ready-to-use boxes for Christmas presents and they also sold personalized mugs and pins. The sophomore students sold different kinds of drinks; there were water, juices, iced tea and gulaman. There were also different kinds of food, like waffles, choco balls, yema, luminous lollipop, candies and nuts. And last from the sophomore students were the designing team, who printed and designed personalized calendars. Other items sold in the bazaar were cakes, flip flops, lanterns, brownies and cupcakes. There was also a body painting booth in which you may let the artist paint personalized drawings and designs in your hand or in your face. All items sold in the bazaar were very affordable and cheap for students.

The money in this activity was from the students, and any proceeds earned from this activity still go back to them. So, this activity gives the students some idea how to become good managers and leaders and the experience in business management.
