The Playful One
You only want make me shout
Your little droplets so serene
And oh, your beauty is so pristine
I come out just to play
‘Coz you make me nothing but gay
Your droplets bring nothing but joy
And it makes me think, I don’t need no toy!
People say you’re a harm
But I don’t hear any alarm
So please come play with me
And bring me more glee
Oh, being with you is so fun
‘Coz you’re a playful one
This is a peom I've created with a classmate during our English class in school. I would just like to share it because I kind of find it somehow interesting. I just, or should I say, we just love the Rain so much!
Red Cross First Aid Training for Students and Teachers

The First aid training for students and teachers was held last September 12 to 13, 2009 in the Amphitheater of the Agusan National High School focusing on the topic of School Disaster Management. The training was introduced after the program at 8AM on September 12. It was leaded by Miss Mariel Angelica Therese Baladad as the Master of Ceremonies and it started with the invocation by Mr. Armando Magdura – Ground Maintenance Team Leader and then followed by singing of the National Anthem with Miss Princess Juneire Peligro conducting.
The teachers and the students had separate seminars and demonstration from the Philippine National Red Cross personnel of the Butuan City Chapter before doing any actual first aid activity after the program. The lecture happened from 10AM to 12PM with different speakers and then the delegates had their free lunch in the canteen. The lecture again resumed at 1PM – 6PM, where these lecture comprised with the teachings about the different kinds of bandage and cravat you can do with a Triangle Bandage. The delegates were also taught about the proper positions, the proper pulls in handling the patient so as not to cause further damage. After the lectures, the Red Cross Youth Delegates from the Agusan National High School Council and the delegates from the Father Saturnino Urios University College Council united and lighted their candles while forming the word “FIRST AID DAY” in the MAPEH Hall celebrating the world’s first aid day. After that, day 1 has ended.
On the second day, at 8AM - 9AM, a written test was conducted by the Philippine National Red Cross personnel to be taken by the delegates. This test was about all the lectures which mostly comprised of situational questions. After the test, the lectures and demonstrations continued in preparation for the demonstration test in the afternoon about the different cravat and slings and also about the different pulls and position by the delegates. At 12PM, lunch break was held in the canteen once more then the demonstration test began at 1PM. The delegates were also given the chance to have an actual first aid activity which their performance was then judged by the Red Cross personnel. It all ended at 5 in the afternoon where sadly there was also a brownout at that time. But as they say, “The show must go on”, so the school principal, Mr. Peter G. Esterioso gave his last words which signaled the end of the whole training.
A Symposium on November 20, 2009
Everyone was all ears and was very enthusiastic when the symposium started. It was first warmed up with a little prayer which was solemnly said and also by the singing of the National Anthem – Lupang Hinirang.
The students that attended the event was mostly the classroom officers for their science subject but the event was also open for everyone who wants to learn and listen for new information. It was attended by the students from the freshmen years to the students of the senior years from any of the curriculums – STOHS or Science and Technology Oriented High School, RBEC and Regulars. The AVR was fully crowded with nearly no more free seats to accommodate those students that were keep on coming. The first topic was about the ecological wastes found on the seas, rivers and estuaries and their effects to the living organisms found in the said places and also the solid wastes from the kitchens of homes and restaurants, human wastes and as well as animals’ which contribute as one of the ecological wastes. The students were also educated about the Solid Waste Management. They were told about the old system about it and where the solid wastes go which may either be a benefit for the people or a loss. The bodies of water were also one of the significant topics involve. Seas which may be in an urban place or not are already polluted and as well as rivers because as of the year 2006, 16 of the big rivers found in the Philippines, officially 5 in Metro Manila are declared biologically dead. The sun, a big hot ball of fire, the ozone layer, the protective layer which is found in the stratosphere that protects the earth from the sun’s harmful Ultraviolet Rays and the ozone hole which was made by substances like refrigerants and CFC’s were also discussed.
The program ended at almost 12 in the afternoon. The students were glad for all the lessons and knowledge they gained and as well as the teachers and speakers that the program was a big success. This big event was made possible with the cooperation of the Science Department with its head, Mrs. Julita N. Garcia, the school principal, Mr. Peter G. Esterioso and also of the Youth for Environment Students Organization or YES-O with its theme: 1-2-Tree-4-Life.
ANHS Hosts 4th Annual Science Clubs Summit
Chapter one started with the NSCM and Summit Opening Program also together with the lecture in the Amphitheater. There was a speaker from Camp Rodriguez and from the PSYSC. The speaker from the Camp Rodriguez told the delegates about how important it is to have people like her and that to never stop a child’s dream if ever he wants to be a public servant especially with a job of a police. The speaker from the PSYSC shared the delegates about his knowledge in Structural Engineering like about columns, beams, arches, poles and many other more. When program the ended, the Subcamp Congregation started. All in all, there were 21 subcamps and each was assigned to prepare a jingle to present in the evening for the contest in the socials night. Lunch break was from 11:30 to 1PM, and then the Team-Building Workshop began with all the games galore where each subcamp has to make a great structure out of Popsicle sticks. The popsicles challenge ended at 3PM because after that time, two new other games were introduced. They were the “GO-CHOKI-PA!” and “My Body” game. All the games ended at 5PM for the preparation of the pledge and socials night at 7PM and also for the dinner. Everything went well and the night was full of games like the Limbo Rock and after that, chapter one has ended and everyone slept soundly in bed.
Chapter two started with a “Pulot Kalat” drive which is another contest by each of the subcamps. The next game was for those individuals who have talents in structural engineering which was about building a spaghetti bridge and giant slippers from egg shells. After these games, lunch pushed itself through and then at 1PM, the Awarding and Closing Ceremonies was situated in the Amphitheater which was also finished at 3PM.
This summit was also made possible in cooperation of the Science Department Head, Mrs. Julita N. Garcia and the School Principal, Mr. Peter G. Esterioso.
The First Day of my Sophomore Year
June 2, 2009 and classes has just begun. This is my sophomore year now, done with all those feelings of not belonging in the crowd and the feeling of being uncomfortable with the new people and new surroundings. But of course, the memories of the past year of my study in Agusan National High School still linger around.
First day of classes, was the day of meeting new classmates again due the changes of sections of the students which solely depend on their average performance and grades during the classes in their previous years, this is also the day of meeting new friends and the deepening of the relationship with in peers.
The academic class of the section Darwin, the first section for the STOHS or Science and Technology Oriented High School curriculum in the sophomore year, which I belong in, was arranged to be early in the morning starting at 7AM at the room A-28 in the STOHS building which they also share with the freshmen students of this year who are occupying the room in the afternoon at 12:00. Some changes happened to the school like the addition of a new two-storey building with classrooms in it which replaced the wrecked and old “Titanic Building", and also the unfinished project of having a covered court in the main campus. The section Darwin was composed of only 37 students which originated as 40 students during the freshmen years in section Archimedes with 11 students which were moved into other sections and 10 new students which replaced those who transferred.
I bet the first day of classes for the freshmen students is still an adjusting moment because this would be their first day in the school they will be spending their other four years of high school with, this would be the day of meeting other and new personalities to blend into and to add up, there are now only three sections in the STOHS curriculum for the first years which was formerly four sections with section Galileo being the one that was diminished.
Perhaps, the first day of the seniors will be a day of excitement because this will be their last year in their beloved school until they graduate, receive their diplomas and become an official college student. So, therefore they have to spend time with their friends wisely and also concentrate to their studies to gain more opportunities in their upcoming tertiary years.
Indeed, all first days of classes are a mixed of emotions like excitement, joy, the feeling of being unsure, sadness and many other more. But let us just hope that all the bad first days of classes will turn out to be good in the succeeding days because as they say, “first impressions don’t last”.

Eureka !
Well, I have been...
After burning up midnight candles about my Science Investigatory Project, finally I can rest soundly asleep and have myself overwhelm.
I have been through many tough time because of this project, there were times I would just want to give up and leave it there in my desk, unattended. But then, after a while it would always ring in my mind that if I leave it now, all the things I've work hard for will go to a waste and as well as the effort of those who tried to help me. I would always feel the guilt so, I didn't mind how tiresome it would be and how brain busting it would be as long as I can finish what I've started and put nothing to waste and no one to blame.
I had to search for many information and search for topics that might have the slightest possibility of approval. I have submitted many titles and topics and most of them have all been a failure, all of them we're rejects. Until finally I came across this beautiful tree with lovely flowers, got amazed by it which made my curiosity rise. I asked my mother about it and when I knew what it was I look for some facts about it and tried it as a proposal for a title and guess what, it was approved. That was the beginning of the feeling that my spirits have been lifted quite a little.
I didn't stop searching for more about the topic I've found interest in, it was about the plant Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa). My goal was for my title to be approved by our Science Department head. On the first time I went to her my project wasn't totally rejected, but it needs more support and my oral defense needed much impact, so she let me returned if I have the right defense and some samples of the plant Banaba. There we're many days that it bothered me. I was always worried about it because I am truly very eager to join the Regional Science Fair to be held in our school on September.
On Tuesday, last June 30, finally my title was approved!!!
Thanks to the help of some of my elder sisters[schoolmates on a higher level] in school, it was approved. They never knew how happy I was. Finally, I can join the contest and finally the quest for approval was finished. Next up is the experimentation and documents.
Whew..
I hope I'll still make it this time...
Morning Bliss
With the bright and cheerful sun shining
There are lovely birds chirping
With a flock of them flying
As I start a tipsy move
I catch a glimpse of flowers that groove
I see them slowly bloom
From their little hidden room
I wish every morning would always be a paradise
So that I have nothing to compromise
With everyday like this,
Oh, what a Bliss
I wouldn't want to miss

Terrific..
As usual, in the morning I woke up, changed, ate my jump start meal and head over to school. It was really not that good in the morning. The reason why is because we will be having a very long quiz on our research subject with a more than 50 items. If it was only a little value lower then it would be kinda fine. But still, I've got myself only for the blame. Our teacher has told us about this quiz 1 week ago and all i did was other stuff and never studied for this. I just started last night and I was also having an upside down luck since I was tasked to make an article to be passed today which I finished only at more than 12AM. I gave myself 2 hours to study for it since classes will start at 7, I have the need to have at least 4 hours of sleep. I arrived at school and it seemed to have an unusual atmosphere--everyone was bowing their heads, studying and preparing for our upcoming test.
When our teacher for Research, the second period which will be at 8AM, arrived she gave us our paper, a 65 itemized test-a test that only by hearing how much item it has makes me go insane. We had an hour to answer the test...
Tick Tock !
Tick Tock !
Tick Tock !
Our time was up...
All the test gave to me was to defy my brain.. Oh how tiresome.. But I was actually kinda proud of myself for not leaving any blanks open.
Anyway, the next thing I have to think about is our next quiz in biology. I haven't studied anything about it yet, but luckily there was a little time and I was glad that it was only a below 20 itemized test. 8 over 15 is good right?? :] (hope it is)
----------------------------------finish of morning classes--------------------------------------
Afternoon classes was first a very happy afternoon because all I did was laugh out with my friends, until I overheard of another test coming, a CHAPTER TEST... Aaaahhh !!! It drives me crazy.. What happened next was cram studying, a very sick habit of mine..
Test finally came and though I find it half good and half confusing, I was still happy that I was able to finish it.
.
.
.
.
.
Whew !! The quizzes finally ended, and now what I have been waiting for was our pictorial for our SCITE club. I can't wait to see other friends from other year again and laugh with them.
The pictorial went well for me because we all had a lot of fun. The only problem was that the camera we used ran our of battery but good thing there was someone among us who brought one by coincidence.. :]
I went home late but luckily I had some of my friends to go with me and riding the A.C. with them was fun. It felt like we had our own little joy ride because it was all noisy and very fun with the music.
Now, I truly believe that every after an obstacle or the like a bliss would come..

A Happy Celebration with Great Chums

Today at 12 noon I celebrated my birthday with my classmates, thought my actual birthday was on last Thursday, June 25. I can't have it last Thursday because it was a school day--a busy day.
I had the celebration with nine friends. We dine at Pizza Hut, Gaisano Butuan Branch. At first, only seven of my friends came then until the other two came. We were very glad because the more the merrier! The nine people who came consisted of eight classmates and a past peer. We ordered our food and it was very fun because we didn't know what to order because we kept on laughing and talking about many various out of this world topics. Finally, we got to order our food to have, the Viva Lasagna and Cheezy Pops Hawaian Supreme. Ordering for our beverage is tough too. We still kept on laughing with the help of some crew in Pizza Hut. They were really very friendly and hospitable. We ended up having an iced tea as our beverage and a Mud Pie as our desert. While waiting for the food, we talked to each other, laughed out loud and my classmates and my past peer tried to get to know each other. Finally the food came ! Cheers for the food ! We prayed for the food and blessings then started to eat. It was very noisy on our table, a kind of noise that was created with joy-- an atmosphere of fun. The crew of Pizza Hut surprised me by giving a little gift to me, a chocolate cupcake covered with hot fudge with a little pink candle. They are really very kind, very generous and caring. The little cupcake gave me an ear stretching smile. I thanked them and started to eat it. We finished our food quite slowly because we were chatting while eating. After eating, we planned to go t the arcade place in the third floor of the mall, but of course I never forgot the person who gave me all the gift for today, my mom. She took care of us while we were dining. After, my mom headed home first because she needs to do some preparations. So, we went up to the third floor.
Playing was what we did in the Games Arcade. I first played the game which involves getting a stuffed toy. Too bad I didn't have much luck in it. Next was playing the Dance Revolution or Dance Revo. I was pretty bad at it-a first timer. I had a so much low score but at least i get to have my first time with my precious comrades. Next was playing the Beat Mania. Though my first time playing it was with my other friends, my second time was still with them. I still suck at it. I got a very low score but it was better than before because with some help of my chums. When I tried to rest for a while, I spotted some friends who were also playing in the Games Arcade, actually 4 friends. I talked to them and we started to play together. The last game I played which I never expected that I was going to play was the Combat Fighter. It was the only game where I was good at and I was glad at it. I had 3 K.O.'s in a row which made me a winner. Yaay for me !!
After playing and having so much fun in the activity, we went to the movie theater to watch a movie. There we saw other friends again and decided to watch with together with them to increase the intensity of fun. We chose the movie "Drag Me to Hell" which obviously is a horror movie. We went together but we didn't arrive in the beginning of the movie. I was very serious in watching it and because of it I screamed out very loud because I found it scary, good thing there were friends near me to hug. It was really scary and a heart-stopping movie.
After the movie, we went on the basement of the mall and we scanned for latest books we could read in Newsies and also we had our project done with the tarpaulin at Life Works.
Indeed, time passes by very swift when were having fun.
It was now 5:00 P.M.-- time to go and say goodbye. Thought it was time leave, I will never forget this day and I will never say goodbye to all the happy memories of today. Thanks to all my friends and to my family, I could have never reached this far without them.

All in Aika's...

On Fridays we mostly have half day classes, so our class ended early today. At around 11:30 A.M. to 12 noon, my friends and I started walking our way to find a place where we could eat. We settled on an eating place just near the school which was named as "Aika's Place".
I rarely eat on a "karinderya" [eatery] because I eat at my cousins place every lunch break, but this time I tried eating out for a change. I was with two classmates and a schoolmate. My classmates and I ate together, but not with our schoolmate, he just watched while we ate and kept chatting with us. We talked, laughed and enjoyed ourselves while eating with each other's company. Then, the rain came. There were loud thunder roars but of course we were just calm because we felt safe in that place. Our schoolmate has to leave first due to some matters. He asked for our help if we have umbrellas that we can lend to him. Sadly, all the umbrellas we had are all only appropriate colors for girls, so he just went and said goodbye.
My classmates and I were left. We started to exchange stories that we knew. First, we talked about many great books that can give us some advices in life.
The book, "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom was the first we talked about. My classmates shared to me the story. It was about a guy named Eddie who met 5 important people in his life. Each of this people has their own experiences with Eddie, the part or the person that captured my attention the most was the third person Eddie met, Ruby. My classmates said that this was a girl that Eddie saw while he and his troops were burning down a nipa hut from the orders of his superior. While the burning down of the hut took place, he saw something moving inside. He tried to go back in to find out who it was but his superior forbids him so, because by doing that he will also be a feast for the inferno. The superior said about no one being left behind, but Eddie was being stubborn so the plan his superior thought was making him injured in the leg so as not to make him walk inside. After he was hospitalized he later soon found out that the girl was Ruby, the he used to talked to a lot about some problems. It made me come to a state of despair. I was sad because what happened to the little girl. My classmate told me that the real theme for the book is that everyone's lives are somehow connected even though you haven't met that person yet.
After talking about it, we had other books as topics too. Next was we shared the thing we hated and despised the most and our phobias and fears. Both my classmates had some fear in facing a mirror especially in dark rooms because of some reflection it gives. We also all have a fear in dreams, especially those dreams in which that case is us falling from a very high elevation.
The next we had interest to talk about was our fights with our siblings. I don't know why but I seem to be interested, especially that one of my classmate with me is the youngest and the only girl among 3 siblings. I am the only girl in among my 3 siblings too, but not the youngest. I wanted to know how it feels to be the youngest one in the family, a fragile position especially that she is a girl. There were fights that originated from very childish reasons and some that are momentous.
Suddenly, we realized that we were the only people left in the eatery so we got up and got our foot moving and left with a happy face. We never realized that all those chitchat was fun, from 11:45 A. M. to quarter to 2 P.M.
Being with them was fun, I learned many things about their life, themselves and about many other things. I was happy that I was with them, being able to share many things to them, my past, my feelings and my likes and dislikes. They are one of my greatest fiends, one of those that has touched my life, friends that I will never forget nor regret having.

One of my Astounding Birthdays !

JUNE 25, 1995...
A day most significant in my life, the day I was born, native and given existence.
In the present, I am a sophomore at Agusan National High School in Butuan City, Philippines and I just turned 14.
Previously in the years of my life I sometimes thought about my birthday, not wanting it to come because I was terrified of what the outcome may be. I was scared that no one would even remember about it, not remember me nor even care a slight thing about what's happening to me. I really hated the thought that was in my mind that time. I often wished I could predict and change the future, only me and no other else. But I realized that it would be a very selfish thing for me to do and besides, its just a wish of mine with no chance of coming true.
Now, I am really glad that all those thoughts in my past are not what came to be in the present. In fact, the reverse of it happened.
June 25, 2009--- TODAY.
It was one of the most exuberant day in my life, one that I will always remember, cherish, treasure, value and always be glad of to.
In the morning when I woke up, I thought, "Oh yeah, its my birthday today, I almost forgot it. I wish someone could remember it", then I changed and prepared myself for another day at school. When I arrived in our class people were shouting, "Happy Birthday Princess!!", "Oh !! Here comes the birthday girl!", "So, how are you feeling now that you are fourteen?" and many other more greetings they gave away to me. I was at shock, I never thought it would turn out so right, perfect and fine. I was filled with joy and my heart burst out with tears of happiness. They sang Happy Birthday to me and wished me more blessings in life. I am glad that I have friends like them. Loyal, kind, loving and very caring. I will never replace them, because they are my classmates, my friends and my brothers and sisters. I am proud of what they did and of what they are.
My day was perfect, I laughed a lot and was mostly very happy. They asked me, " so, where's the party today?" and also a famous line in class... "mang.libre si Princess, asa tah mangaon?? Pani-udtoh or Pani-hapon?? [Princess will treat us! So, where's the place? Lunch or dinner?]. I was really treated like a princess today, thanks to everyone who cared to make me smile. I will never forget those kindness they showed to me.
[This is an article dedicated to all the people who greeted me, especially my parents. Thank you to all those who remembered me.
I am proud to be a student of Agusan National High School, proud to be a student of II-Darwin.]

Let's Paint it Green !

EARTH. A planet among those in the Solar System, our planet, our home, our shelter, our Mother Earth.
Do many people care about it?
In my point of view, yes they do, but with many different objectives. Influential people care for the planet because it is where they find their wealth, where they can gain more money and more power. It is sad that even though somehow we say they care for our Mother Nature, they are also one of the top reasons why our planet turns black, bald, ill, tortured and battered because of their big industrial activities . It hurts me so much that all they think is money and power. In those money-gaining activities, they don't even consider the fact that they are putting the place we call home in jeopardy. Abominable acts should be at a standstill to diminish great obstacle that we have to face in the impending time. One setback may lead to a domino obstacles. Fortuitously, some of the big companies in the world took a great big leap to help the world by means of going GREEN. Some of these big leaps are inventing new machinery that are economical and very Eco-friendly, the bringing together of many people in planting millions of trees in many Eco-parks and also trumpet the proper way and proper place in disposing one's trashes and garbage.
I, as a student has been raring to take part in the big project in painting our planet green once again. I demand a better, cleaner and safer country not only to us existing but also to our future peers that will have to live in this planet, they don't have to suffer!
I order for all of us to attain this great big ambition--teamwork, cooperation and understanding is acquired. I hope we all can be of much help to our Mother Earth, to lessen the pain she undergoes with our undertakings.

A Tribute to our Fathers...

Another year to commemorate what our fathers have done for us, their children. Today, we must show them what we really feel for them, make them happy and serve them. But, it doesn't have to be only today, we have a lifetime to show our father how much we love them, but its better if we do it now before we run out of time.
Lucky for those children who are with their father today, unlike I who is far away from him today. But I don't even try to think of myself UNLUCKY, because the fact of having a loving and great father as my dad is a very lucky thing for me. Having him as my father is not just luck but fate, my father was meant to be with me. He was meant to guide me and watch me as I grow. Thought I can't be with him today, I never ran out of ideas on how to make him very happy. In the past months, I knew that my father can't be with me today because he has to work for us, so I tried a plan on having a video of my family and I with a letter written by ourselves to be sent to him. My mom agreed to it and then we immediately do what has been planned. We sent it to him immediately after we were all done.
.........
.......
.....
...
..
.
After 3 days we finally knew that my dad has received what our gifts to him was. Happily my father liked it. I was happy to be of help and I was happy to have let my father be happy today even thought its just a simple gift. I knew that my dad misses us because its has been almost 6 months of him not seeing us due to work reasons.
For those children with their fathers today, I hope they have already did something for their fathers to be very happy. It doesn't always have to be things nor it has to be always words. "Actions speaks louder than Words", as they say. Honor your fathers and treasure them because in life, a father can never be replaced by any money or material.
Our First Lesson in ICT: Adobe Photoshop

Wow ! We are now taking up Adobe Photoshop for our first lesson in our Information and Communication Technology class. I've heard so many people use it, professionals and non-professionals alike and yet I'm still a NEWBIE at it(how sad). I would like to learn much about it because it seems to me that it is really a very interesting topic to study and learn. I will try to dig much information about it. I already know that it is a graphics editing software and it helps you in editing your pictures and improving them to become very stupendous and very presentable images, but I still don't have any clue about how to use it or how to deal with its tools. It seems to me that it is very much complex. My other classmates who have taken up Photoshop last year told me that it is really complex for anyone at the beginning but once you get used to it and know how to use it, it will be as simple as a piece of cake...
I really envy those who are good in such fields, I want them to guide me and teach me about it, like my new mentor in ICT class, Miss Felishiela M. Toledo, though I don't know much about her I know that she is a great mentor, my classmates told me and I can see it for myself too.
We started at the basics of Photoshop last week. First, we had to get to know its Workplace and be familiar with its uses and what it contains for us to navigate in Photoshop's Workspace faster and simpler. This week, we proceed to its Toolbox. The parts of the Toolbox and also with the functions of the tools. Our mentor told us to familiarize the Tools for us to be ready in having our hands on. When our teacher told us that, I cant help but get so much excited about it. I hope I can be good at it !Saturday, June 20, 2009
Science Invetigatory Project...

An Important Thing we sophomores now must handle is making a Science Investigatory Project. I myself have to find one for our Research Class but I cant seem to make it because of lack of time. I also don't have any idea of what to make. Some people have helped me and shared their ideas to me. I have been having it all in my mind but Its still seems hard for me. I cant decide on what to do or what the topic may be.
I have been searching for some Science Investigatory Projects in the internet that has succeeded in some contests and try to make those projects as guideline for me in making one for my own. I have found out that they were mostly very affordable and also a very big help to many people. Until now, I'm still in the process of determining my own Investigatory Project. I have have asked some people with authority, like some teachers and also those students that have won in the past Science Fair Contests and they have given me big pieces of advices.
What I have in mind as a guideline now is making something that will help most of the people and which is very available and very affordable. I'm still trying to decide whether making a food from very accessible and cheap plants or trying to find a way of making plants grow more fast for us to lessen our food crises.
I will be working on the investigatory project until I can say, EUREKA !, the sweet taste of victory. There is nothing better than achieving something big to help in the community that you've done with all your effort.

Influenza A(H1N1) Virus In the Philippines !

The fast increasing numbers of confirmed cases of Influenza A(H1N1) Virus are affecting so much people not only in the Philippines but also across other neighboring and far countries. They affect all people, from a newborn to an elder and from a student to a teacher. Are there advantages in it?? I'm sure there are disadvantages.
As I can observe now, this virus is causing much alarm and inconvenience for the people in the Philippines specially in those in Luzon. Starting in those in the Airports. People coming from other countries has to be observed, like their body temperatures or any symptoms they have that can be a sign of the sprouting of the Swine Flu. Those that have signs of Swine Flu should be under quarantine for five days or more and is to be observed by doctors. To those that are in a hurry, this will cause such inconvenience. Next, siting the effects of Swine Flu in such crowded places like the mall, market, parks and most importantly in schools. Because of this virus people in crowded places have to be in a hold. In malls, where usually most people hang out have lessen in the population these days because of this virus. The profit of mall have lessen, as well as in markets. Those people usually staying in parks also has stopped going to that certain place, instead just stay home and stay safe. The most important problem is about Swine Flu lurking in school grounds. Because of it most of the classes in Metro Manila schools or most in Luzon are suspended and moved. This may affect the students' studies.
Now, I've realized that Swine Flu also has some advantages, some of these advantages are clearly applied. Because of the Swine Flu Virus the relationship of our country's regional governments have been tested. They are now put to a test where they must cooperate to find solutions with this problem. Also within the family, our bonds are much more strengthened. Not only with our country but also across the world, with this, our country and the others across wide measures have somehow strengthen their bond more and more which is much of a big help to our development.
Even though it is a very big hindrance to us all, we have to endure it and take the strength to overcome it. All we have to do is stay Clean and of course cooperate.
